01-Portable Medical Diagnostic Device Project from Canada

A German medical device company was developing a portable patient monitoring system for home healthcare use. During the prototype stage, they faced several battery problems with their previous supplier, including short runtime, overheating during charging, and unstable discharge performance. In addition, the battery pack structure occupied too much internal space, making the device heavier than expected.
